Dreamland

This past week I found myself completely engrossed in an article in 'The Skateboarder Magazine'. It basically looked at the future of skateboarding and said the 90s were all about street, but speculated that it'll eventually become more about flow and go back to concrete parks. They pretty much put all this down to Burnside and everything that came from it. Basically the main skaters behind Burnside were asked to make a park and began a company called Dreamland Skateparks. These skaters are supposed to be fanatical about getting things right and apparently it's like an entirely new experience to skate one of their parks. This all looked pretty interesting so I checked their website, which I have to say turned out to be the highlight of my day. I really can't explain how incredible these parks look, you'll just have to see this for yourself:

1 2 3 4 5 the next 2 are from the Garrett Byrnes Dig cover 6 7

And this is just sickening, I promise you won't regret clicking this link.

I just couldn't believe all this stuff existed. In fact it made my day just seeing the pictures, which is just as well really because I'm pretty sure you won't be allowed to ride bikes on most of it, being America and all. I've checked through though and they've built one in Austria and another in Italy(picture #4), so I think I've just gained some new trip destinations.
