Stalyvegas Fullpipe

Someone heard about this pipe, so on a warm summers day 18 months we ventured up into the Pennines on a quest. I'm sure we thought it'd be a bit bigger, but it proved ride-able and I'm sure looking back at these pictures all in attendance will agree it was a beltin' excursion.

You can see where I developed my graffiti skills for the new Gain header

It could've easily been 15ft high from here

See, not that big at all

Not often Mike and I find being small is benefical in riding, not this day

Clarky in the blocks

If they did a horror remake of 'BMX Bandits' with Leatherface slaughtering BMXers, the scene where they escape down water slides might look something like this.

Looking towards Manchester

The flys!....

....THE FLYS!!!!!!

This All Time Low....

....feature Chris and Lewd of Boneyard fame and played with Planes Mistaken For Stars at Satans Hollow on Monday. They were on first out of four, but I have to say I prefered them to the other 2 support bands. They really are good, despite what they tell you. You can check them out and go all weak in the knees because you know rock stars at www.thisalltimelow.com.

I've got some more pictures from this show, but a big long post of all band pictures will get boring so I'll break it up instead.

...And Now For Something Completely Different

Well its not that different really, I just didn't know how to top that last post with all those hammers. So I thought I'd try this new fangled 'Video' thing- for Clarky riding the Mancunian Way fly-over ramps, circa Feb '04 click the image below (it's 2.5MB and you'll need Quicktime).

And back before 'Video' was invented:

Here he is at it back in Dec '02.

Drop The Hammer

And indeed hammers were dropped. No, we're not talking furniture auctions, this is street, last night, Sheffield. In attendance were myself, Tommy, Clarky, Will and Gaz. Check out these hammers.

Tommy Gore, hammer droppage despite injury troubles.

I wasn't even sure this was possible, let alone that he'd do it. I pressed the shutter on about 3 run ups, waiting for us to pack up and leave the whole thing, next go I did the same thing only my shutter was closely followed by a thud. Absolutely shocked. I've never been so sure something wasn't going to happen when it just did. Un-ba-bloody-livable.

Cobbled bank to rail specialist 'that' Gaz, just warming up here....

Next thing, BOOM!!! Eat my hammer!!!
